From the 14 to the 16th of August, the “Fête des Vieux gréements” will return to the port of Paimpol. To celebrate the maritime heritage of Brittany, the most beautiful tallships & traditional boats of the area will come together at the quays of the town, Grayhound being one of them. A Breton festival packed with sailor’s tales and moments worth experiencing, and staying on board Grayhound you are right in the middle of it all!
Requirement to book:
❗️Since staying with Grayhound should always be about the sailing, this is a stay intended for between voyages.
→ That means, it is only bookable for guests who also join us on the voyage from Douarnenez to Pasaia and the trip from Pasaia back to Douarnenez.
Important to know:
🗣️ Since we are mainly sailing in French waters, the main language onboard is French. But don’t be worried: Most of the professional crew onboard also speaks English.
Festival Maritime de Paimpol

Du 14 au 16 août, la fête des vieux gréements prend place au port de Paimpol. Pour rendre hommage à l'héritage maritime de la Bretagne, les plus beaux des vieux voiliers traditionnels de la région se retrouvent le long des quais de la ville, et Grayhound est le plus beau ! Un festival breton rempli de légendes et de récits maritimes et plein de moments immanquables. Réserver une couchette sur Grayhound pour vous offrir une place en plein milieu de toute l’activité.
Prérequis pour réserver :
❗️Comme un séjour avec Grayhound doit avant tout être associé à la navigation, il s'agit d'un séjour prévu entre deux traversées.
→ Autrement dit, il est uniquement réservable aux passagers qui nous rejoignent pour la traversée Douarnenez (ou Aber Wrac’h) — Paimpol et le retour Paimpol-Douarnenez.
À savoir :
🗣️ Nous naviguons maintenant principalement dans les eaux françaises, la langue principale à bord est donc le français. La plupart des marins professionnels à bord parlent anglais et français.
